Project Money

projectmoney.summitcreditunion.com
Project Money is a unique micro-site to support a campaign that gives four teams a chance to work with a Summit Credit Union Financial Coach to help take control of their finances and improve their lives. Participants build budgets, pay off debt and figure out how to make every dollar count. The team that demonstrates the most change is rewarded with a $10,000 prize, while the other three participants each receive $2,500.
Throughout the journey, Summit and the Project Money Participants document their progress for the entire community to see and learn from. Each participant has their own blog and regularly posts updates, writing about their experience. They also use Twitter to keep others informed about their progress, and the tweets are pulled into the displays on the site.
The entire Project Money site was built on a popular blogging platform by integrating a custom design. The site is re-designed each year to keep it fresh and in line with the marketing elements created for the campaign. It consists of up to five different blogs, an application for those who hope to become participants the following year, integrated email marketing, and multiple pages about the project, coaches and participants. Project Money has been launched annually since 2009.
